The Foundation for the Developmentally Disabled is a service provider of the North Los Angeles County Regional Center.
The North Los Angeles County Regional Center (NLACRC) is one of 21 private, non-profit organizations under contract with the California Department of Developmental Services (DDS) to coordinate and provide community-based services to persons with developmental disabilities (consumers). NLACRC serves people who live in the San Fernando, Santa Clarita, Antelope Valleys, and Southern Kern County.
- An assessment is processed to determine eligibility and proper program placement.
- Financial assistance programs are explained and options provided.
- Assignment to the appropriate facility is made based on location and program needs.
- First time visit and tour of your facility is scheduled.
